Ankle Brachial Indexes (Circulation Issues)
Are you or your physician concerned about your circulation? An ankle brachial index can tell you if your arteries (which bring blood down to the feet) are in good shape. The nurse will take a ratio of your arm and leg blood pressure to see if you have impaired blood flow, then send the information to your family doctor.
